I know I might be late to the party when it comes to new hardware to improve my video gaming channel but I think this was worth the wait. For a time I used to record video through Component Cables for 720p for my Xbox 360 and Composite video for my PS2 Slim. One day I upgrade to HDMI recording and a little wiring shortcut to get both system working well. Just recently I picked up a new capture device that does 60fps. Holy snap. I was impressed. Game quality graphics, very vivid and it really caught my eye during the weekend. Even the screenshots looks awesome. Great quality comes a great price. The capture device was in my price range when I brought it but it was the video that I was talking about. After recording some video, I went into the description detail about the video. My average video I would do in 720p and at 30 to 50fps would range about 2500kbps for the bit rate. When I check my new video, like Tekken Tag Tournament 2, the bit rate was 12000kbps and the video was 30 min at 2.5GB large. I am not complaining but it also tell me that my current setup need a new upgrade down the line. I love my current PC and we went through searching and encoding for a good long time. I am now looking for a partner that going to take more of the burden and leave my current computer to do the light work. |
